Because this disease is so rare in the United States, it may take several doctors to diagnose it. However, if the condition is diagnosed early, the outcomes can be better and the disease can be treated more effectively. Your doctor will check your mouth, lymph nodes and skin for any signs of cancer.

X-rays are another way to diagnose the condition. A chest X-ray may show abnormalities in the lung or other body part. Other symptoms include dark-colored lesions on the face and legs. If these lesions are located in the groin area, they can be painful. If you notice any of these symptoms, you should visit your doctor. If the symptoms persist, your doctor will prescribe a course of treatment.

The first symptoms of Kaposi sarcoma usually appear on the skin and are disfiguring. Occasionally, the cancer will also affect your digestive system, lungs and lymph nodes. A biopsy will confirm the diagnosis and will determine your next step. Once you’ve found out if you have the disease, your doctor will recommend a course of treatment. The treatment will vary based on the type of Kaposi sarcoma you have, the number of lesions, your general health and your immune system.

Patients with Kaposi sarcoma should visit a medical oncologist to determine which treatment is best for their specific condition. If the lesions are small and locally located, radiation may be an option. If there are more than 25 lesions, chemotherapy can be helpful. In rare cases, patients may also be prescribed chemotherapy with standard anti-cancer drugs. There are also treatments for Kaposi sarcoma of the digestive system and lymph nodes.

The most common signs of Kaposi sarcoma are pink or red skin patches on the face, neck, and legs. In severe cases, the lesions may spread to the lymph nodes and lungs. While the symptoms of Kaposi sarcoma can be confusing, it is important to be evaluated by your doctor immediately. If you have any of these symptoms, you should seek treatment. Your doctor will be able to identify the cause of your skin condition and suggest the best treatment.

If you have symptoms of Kaposi sarcoma, you should visit a doctor right away. Most patients will experience a pink or red skin spot on their face and legs. The lesions may also affect the lymph nodes. In severe cases, these tumours may be inside the body. The most common symptoms are tenderness and swelling. If you’re experiencing these symptoms, you should consult a physician right away.

Generally, the lesion will be dark or gray. You will also experience pain in your genital area. Your immune system will be affected by Kaposi sarcoma. There are no specific symptoms of the disease. Most people who develop the condition have a weakened immune system, causing them to have a higher risk of developing the disease. Your doctor may prescribe medication for relief of these symptoms.

The main sign of Kaposi sarcoma is a pink or purple patch on the skin. It can also spread inside the body. Depending on the stage of the disease, your doctor may perform blood tests or order a chest X-ray to diagnose it. Moreover, your physician may order a bronchoscopy to look for any blood in the lungs. If your symptoms are unusual, you should see a doctor as soon as possible.
