You’ve heard about colorectal cancer, but are you aware of its symptoms? While some of the signs and symptoms of colorectal cancer are not as serious as the other types, they are nonetheless very concerning. If you’ve ever experienced pain or a feeling of fatigue, you may want to see a doctor as soon as possible. This cancer is highly treatable if detected in its early stages.

Your rectum is a five to six-inch chamber that connects the colon to the anus. It functions as a storage area that holds stool until you defecate. Cells in your body normally divide, grow, and die, but sometimes these processes get out of control and cells keep growing when they’re supposed to be dying. This type of cancer is called stage IIIA, because the cancer has spread beyond the colon wall to one to three lymph nodes. Stage IIIB is the same as stage IIIA, except it’s much more advanced and has spread to multiple organs in the abdomen.

Although some of these symptoms of colorectal cancer may seem minor at first, they could be signs of other health problems. It’s important to get screened for colorectal cancer if you’re over 50 because it can be fatal if not caught early. In addition to getting screened for colorectal cancer, your doctor will also check your stool for signs of blood in the stool. Treatment options may include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. If detected in the early stages, colorectal cancer can be cured with surgery.

Symptoms of colorectal cancer include bloating, bowel pain, and irregular bowel movements. The symptoms may not be noticeable in the early stages and may not develop until you have advanced cancer. For the best treatment, your doctor will need to conduct regular screenings. When you experience any of these symptoms, it’s important to see a doctor immediately. If they are persistent and don’t go away, it’s important to seek further testing.

Having blood in your stool is one of the most common signs of colorectal cancer, but other health conditions can cause similar symptoms. Blood in the stools may be bright red, brick red, or tarry. If you’re experiencing blood in the stool, you should see a doctor immediately. Blood in the stool could also be a sign of anemia or a low red blood cell count.

The symptoms of colorectal cancer vary from patient to patient. It can be very difficult to diagnose in its early stages because most people don’t have any noticeable symptoms at all. But it’s important to get checked out for colorectal cancer so that you can get the right treatment. The earlier you detect the cancer, the better your chances of survival. If you have symptoms that persist for longer than a month or two, you should see a doctor.
