Can mouth cancer be cured? The answer to this question depends on how early you identify it. A regular checkup by a dentist is crucial to early diagnosis. Your dentist will look for lumps or swellings in your lips, inside your mouth, cheeks, and floor. If they see any suspicious spots, they may recommend further testing with a specialist. This disease has also been linked to HPV, the virus that causes cervical cancer.
