The pain is usually worse lying down but gets better with sitting up or standing. It can also be persistent, particularly if it occurs after eating. This disease is diagnosed by performing a series of diagnostic tests, such as an endoscopic ultrasound.

The first symptom of pancreatic cancer is yellow skin. This is often mistaken for a rash or acne. The disease is classified according to its severity. If it is not treated at an early stage, it may spread to other organs. In such cases, the patient may experience pain in the abdomen, weight loss, and fatigue. Since the pancreas is hidden behind other organs, health care providers cannot always detect it during routine examinations. The diagnosis is made by performing a physical exam, blood tests, and imaging tests.

If the cancer has spread, it may cause other organs in the body, including lymph nodes and the liver. Surgical treatment for pancreatic cancer typically removes the affected organ, including the lymph nodes above the collarbone. The tumor may be present in the stomach, but the doctors will use imaging to diagnose it. If the disease has spread to the liver, a patient may also develop diabetes. When these symptoms occur, it is important to see a physician to determine the cause and treatment.

Back pain may be another sign of pancreatic cancer. Some people experience this pain, but this is common with pancreatitis, because the tumors can affect the nerves surrounding the pancreas. Some patients also experience abdominal pain. Other Pancreatic Cancer Symptoms Include: When the tumors reach the stomach, it can block the food passage and lead to nausea and vomiting. This condition also causes increased pain after meals.

Other Pancreatic Cancer Symptoms: A dull ache in the upper abdomen and back pain are common. The pain can extend to other areas, including the neck and the back. Some patients may experience early fullness after meals. There may also be a swelling in the abdomen. These symptoms are signs of pancreatic cancer, but they do not necessarily mean that the disease is in the pancreas. There are other causes of stomach pain.

Symptoms vary according to the type of cancer. In the case of non-cancerous pancreas, the pain is caused by a tumor pressing on the abdominal nerves. Some patients experience bowel obstruction due to pancreatic cancer. Although these symptoms do not require medical attention, they should be treated right away. It is important to note that the list of symptoms listed here is not exhaustive. It does not replace the advice of your physician.

A person may experience back pain, even though it is not a sign of pancreatic cancer. It can be related to a bile duct or to a tumor on the pancreas. These symptoms may be indicative of another underlying condition. Some people may experience yellow skin or eyes when the tumor is in the stomach. In the case of an enlarged pancreas, the patient may also experience vomiting and nausea.
