A few other common appendix cancer symptoms include pelvic pain, vomiting, and fever. Although they may be caused by other conditions, appendix cancer symptoms include a distended abdomen, loss of appetite, and a sharp pain in the right lower belly. It’s important to see a doctor if you notice any of these symptoms. Your doctor will also want to evaluate your overall health and determine whether or not you have a condition that will require surgery to treat.

While most appendix cancers are benign, the majority of people who develop them will require surgery. Depending on the extent of the cancer, it may require a hemicolectomy, which removes the appendix and part of the large intestine. In 30% of cases, the cancer has spread to lymph nodes, which will be removed as well. In more advanced cases, the tumor might be more difficult to remove, and chemotherapy may be needed after surgery.

There are many different types of appendix cancer. The most common types of appendix cancer affect people between the ages of forty to sixty. The symptoms of appendix cancer are similar to other forms of appendicitis, but they may be more or less serious. Some of the symptoms of appendix cancer include a sharp pain in the right lower belly, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Sometimes, the tumors rupture or become infected with a disease.

Symptoms of appendix cancer vary from person to person. While there are several conditions that may cause these symptoms, they are not specific to appendix cancer. Other less common symptoms include pelvic pain, abdominal pain, and fever. In some cases, a tumor may spread to other organs, such as the liver or lungs. Shortness of breath, appetite, and blood pressure can also be signs of cancer.

Most of the symptoms of appendix cancer are easily mistaken for symptoms of other diseases. While a pain in the right upper abdomen may be the same as a pain in the lower abdomen, other symptoms of appendix cancer include pelvic and abdominal pain. Some of the most common symptoms of appendix cancer are a sharp pain in the lower right part of the belly, pelvic ache, vomiting, and fever. Additionally, the tumor can cause severe cramps and even collapse.
