Colorectal cancer symptoms are very similar to those of other diseases, including liver cancer. While you might not feel any symptoms during the early stages, there may be other signs of cancer. For instance, if you’re having trouble urinating, you may have a bowel condition such as Crohn’s disease. You may also develop a cough or experience abdominal discomfort. However, you should see a doctor for a full diagnosis.

Stages of cancer indicate the stage of the disease and the extent of spread. Early stage cancer, known as carcinoma in situ, has not spread past the inner layer of the colon. It has not spread to nearby lymph nodes and other parts of the body. Stage 2 cancer has spread to one or more distant sites. Stage 4 cancer has spread to distant organs. All of these stages are potentially fatal. To avoid a recurrence of colon cancer, get tested for these symptoms.

Other common colorectal cancer symptoms include rectal bleeding. While rectal bleeding may not be a sign of colorectal cancer, it should alert you to something wrong. Never ignore it! A blood test may also indicate that you have anemia or a low red blood cell count. If you have a low red blood cell count, it could be another sign of colon cancer. If you notice any of these symptoms, be sure to see a doctor right away!

You can prevent colorectal cancer by keeping your weight in check. A diet high in fiber and low in fat may reduce the risk of colon cancer. In addition, a physical exercise routine will reduce the risk of developing colorectal cancer. And remember, you should also limit your intake of fat, sugar, and fatty foods. It’s also a good idea to avoid smoking and drinking too much alcohol.

While the symptoms of colorectal cancer may not be obvious at first, they may occur during an undiagnosed condition. Fortunately, early detection of colorectal cancer is the key to preventing the disease from progressing. Even if you don’t have any of these symptoms, you should still consult a doctor for a checkup. He or she will discuss your symptoms and help you determine if you are suffering from colon cancer.

Treatment options for colorectal cancer depend on the stage of the disease. The stage determines how far it has spread and how deep it has invaded the intestine. Surgery is the primary treatment for most colorectal cancer cases. It removes the cancerous tissue and re-connects the bowel to the rectum. Sometimes, the surgeon may also create a stoma for drainage into a colostomy bag.

There are several causes of colorectal cancer symptoms. Inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and hemorrhoids are common conditions that can mimic the symptoms of colorectal cancer. However, if you develop any of these symptoms, you should schedule a consultation with a medical professional for an examination. Fortunately, the best way to detect colorectal cancer is early on. Those who do not have any symptoms may still have it.

If you suspect that you may have colorectal cancer, a biopsy is the only way to be sure. Endoscopic biopsy is the most common type of biopsy, and it’s performed during a colonoscopy. A tiny sample of changed tissue is removed and checked for cancer cells. The results can take several days to come back. You may notice one or more of these symptoms, or you may notice some.

While colorectal cancer is often a silent disease, early diagnosis is vital for a successful treatment plan. While colorectal cancer symptoms may be minor in the early stages, they become noticeable once the cancer has spread to nearby organs. It is possible for the tumor to spread to other organs, including the liver. You should get a colonoscopy as soon as possible to detect the disease.
