Some people may experience changes in their personality. Symptoms of primary CNS lymphoma can also cause bowel dysfunction, which can lead to incontinence. Additionally, pressure from the tumor can cause increased intracranial pressure, which can cause headaches, vomiting, or vision changes.

The first signs of Primary CNS lymphoma are a sudden increase in intracranial pressure. These symptoms can be caused by either the blockage of brain fluid spaces or by the tumour itself. Some patients have headaches, visual changes, and speech changes. The progression of the disease is rapid, so it is important to visit your healthcare provider within a few weeks if you begin to notice any symptoms.

The next phase of primary CNS lymphoma treatment begins with a diagnosis. MRI and CT scans can reliably identify the cancer. To confirm if the tumour is lymphoma, brain surgeons must remove a sample of the cancer. The biopsy is often performed with stereotactic surgery. Cerebrospinal fluid is also examined via lumbar puncture or spinal tap. A bone marrow biopsy will help rule out other conditions and determine the presence of tumor cells.

The signs of primary CNS lymphoma may not be the same for everyone. Some individuals with this disease experience a headache, paralysis, or changes in personality. The symptoms of this type of cancer usually increase quickly and require a visit to a healthcare provider within a few weeks. They may even be accompanied by other symptoms. And a biopsy is the only way to accurately diagnose the condition.

Other primary CNS lymphoma symptoms include a headache, numbness, and vision loss. In some cases, patients with primary CNS lymphoma have seizures and mental changes. These symptoms should be evaluated by a healthcare provider immediately. If a diagnosis of primary CNS lymphoma is suspected, the patient will undergo a biopsy to determine the extent of the cancer.

A CT or MRI scan can identify primary CNS lymphoma symptoms. The cancer may cause a raised intracranial pressure. The tumor itself can increase intracranial pressure. A CT or MRI scan is required to confirm the diagnosis. The disease may also result in a weakened or paralyzed part of the body, a change in personality, or a change in speech.

Symptoms of primary CNS lymphoma may vary from person to person. However, these symptoms should be present in any case. Some symptoms of this disease may be the same as those of primary CNS lymphoma. Others may differ from those of others. A doctor will be able to rule out the condition by examining your entire body and analyzing any abnormalities in the spinal cord and MRI.
